As a public relations coordinator, I organize and create communications activities for three areas in my office: International Students and Scholars, the Brazil Gateway, and the Global One Health initiative.

Aside from newsletters, I also post to our social media accounts, develop copy for graphics and flyers, maintain our website, coordinate an email series for new international students to help them get acclimated to campus and edit, and produce news stories.

Social Media
The majority of my role as it relates to social media has been about promoting our events and programs. Since our biggest audience is students, we’ve focused our efforts on Instagram, and in the past year, I’ve experimented with Instagram Reels and new ways to feature students.

Combined, all the Reels I've produced generated over 35,000 impressions, over 1,000 engagements, and over 36,000 views.
Student Feature
Writing feature articles is one of my favorite types of writing. In 2021, Ohio State students elected the first ever international student to be the student body president. I interviewed him after his term was over to write about what he achieved and what his next steps were.
